How are characters counted?

One character is one character of your final text, spaces included. We trim leading, trailing and repeated whitespace before counting, so pasting from a document doesn't cost you extra.

Do unused characters roll over?

No. Each billing period starts with the full quota of your plan. It's the standard in the industry and it's what keeps the price where it is.

Can I use the audio commercially?

Yes on every paid plan: videos, ads, courses, podcasts, apps. The free plan is for testing only.

How does voice cloning work?

Upload 10 seconds to 5 minutes of clean audio from your account and you get a private voice model only you can use. Clone slots depend on your plan, and you can only clone a voice you own or have written permission to use.

What if a synthesis fails?
